Marienburg Castle

Between Hanover and Hildesheim is the Marienburg Castle located. The summer residence of the Welf is well preserved.

St. Michael Chruch, Hildesheim

The St. Michael Church is one of the best preserved churches from the Ottonian Resaissance.

Temple house, Hildesheim

The temple house was built around 1350. The market square was hit by a bomb 1945. The temple house was built up in 1952. The bay was built in 1591 and is a masterpiece of the stonemasonry.

Roemer- and Pelizaeus museum, Hildesheim

The museum contains of of the most important collection of Egyptian history, a Peruvian collection and Paleontologically collection.

Butchers’ Guild Hall, Hildesheim

The Butchers’ Guild Hall is the most famous truss house in Hildesheim.

Hildesheim Cathedral

The cathedral was built in the 11th Century . In 1985 it became World Heritage.

The museum is located near the new town hall. The museum has a wide range of topics – ideal for a trip with the whole family.

New town hall, hanover

The new town is part of the Wilhelminism and was built from 1901 to 1913.

Zoological Garden, Hanover

The Hanover Zoo was founded in 1865. Approximately 2000 animals live in the Zoo. There are seven different themes, based on the natural habitat of the animals.
